We arrived there at 1:30 pm on Monday and they allowed us to check in, which was great. We had a two bedroom suite and it fit us perfectly. (being family of 4) Says sleeps 7 but I couldn't imagine cramping that many in there. The room was very cute, kids had a danny phantom room theme. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. The kids got goodie bags at their check in desk. It had address books inside and toothpaste and magazines and a poster. The pools were awesome ! Let me put it this way, I had to make the kids leave the pool area (including hubby who didn't want to leave either) to head to get something to eat for a little bit after arriving at 1:30, couldn't get them away from the pool til 6 and then they were back in til it started to storm that evening. DD11 did cut her foot on one of the slides in the main pool. She cut the top of it, said she did it coming out of it. I am not sure how she did it, anyways we walked over to one of the lifeguards and he tendened to her and while he was checking her out about 4 more came over. Then two security people. I had to answer some questions for them lol. They were all concerned. Asked if I wanted her to go to the hospital, I said no. She was fine. They did games with the kids on the side of the pool. Saw that they did pool movies on the weekend. Dive in pool movies, wish we could have seen that. The food down in the food court was alright. We had pizza hut. We caught a nick show that evening also. Since we were only there one night when I saw that we got a free 5x7 picture with a nick character it was too late. They said I could get in at 4:30 but we had another hotel to check into and I wanted to get our tickets and all that taken care of at US. So next time we will do that. All in all the hotel was perfect for kids, it was all themed for them, having them in mind as top priority. Will definetly stay there again in the future. Maybe again this year if we can swing it. If we had of gotten to stay there the entire trip the kids could of cared less about going to a theme park. They had plenty to do there. Oh also, by the pools, there were two hot tubs and a basketball area and shuffleboard area, putt-putt area, pool table and little kiddies area. And ping pong tables.(all free to play) Plenty to do !!!! And the pool was open til 11 I believe. Music constantly playing during the day and into the evening. That was my first stay at a nice hotel, only other hotels I have stayed in have been a holiday inn express and all star resorts in disney, and the awful stay at the best western movieland I had checked into the night after our stay here (should of stayed at the nick hotel last)Not much to compare to as far really but the fact that my kids loveeeedddddddddddd this place was fantastic !!! Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the report. I'm glad you had such a good time. Can't wait until we get there.

Great! Glad to hear you liked it! Can you tell me the restaurant hours in the hotel and what time can the kids eat for free, if you know? We wont be arriving until 7:00pm and, im thinking we are going to have to go out to eat! Are they opened that late? I know that i read the pizza place is open late, but, im wondering about the restaurant and or buffet where the kids eat for free? Thanks

I think they were open until 10 pm at the buffet, thats the only spot that allowed kids to eat free with paying adult. not the pizza hut or anything like that. we didn't do the buffet. they started dinner at 5 pm. so you should be fine. have a wonderful trip !!!

Thanks! It better be good, I paid (I KNOW IM NUTS), 249.00 for 4 nights and 210.00 for the other 3 nights! But, my kids would rather stay in a NICK themed hotel than Disney themed! I requested a room facing the parking lot, 5th floor to check out the fireworks. I also thought that it may be a bit quiter away from the pool side! We shall see.......

When are you going that you are paying that much? I got prices of $189 (adv. purch.), and $209 (flexible) at the Nick Hotel for May.

I was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about shuttles to and from the Nick Hotel and Disney. Is it a must to rent a car?

Thanks.

nope it's not they have transportation but they only leave once or twice a day, knew I should have grabbed that paper I could have scanned it, sorry
