Husband had to be in class at his conference for 3 1/2 days, so some days I went to the parks alone. Other days we got to go together.

Sun.- Animal Kindgom-looked pretty crowded just by the number of people walking around, but we didn't have to wait long for anything. Went on the safari and Rafiki's Planet watch train ride. Also It's a Bug's Life. Walked through the trail to see the gorillas. It was probably in the upper 70's and sunny. Perfect weather.

Mon. MGM- Walked onto the Great Movie Ride-no wait. Went through the animation building. Rock N Roller Coaster-short line in the AM- I loved it. Brought husband back after lunch to ride it again. Went to "Who wants to be a millionaire" show. That was fun. When there was a rain shower, we saw the Walt Disney "one man's dream" film. Very interesting.
Went over to Epcot for the 5PM Candlelight Processional. Got there maybe 5 minutes early and walked right in. Wasn't going to wait in a long line. It was a very nice show. Phil Donahue was the narrator.

Tues. It rained. Had reservation for horseback riding at Ft. Wilderness, but it was cancelled. Went to Downtown Disney and walked around and picked up my Cirque tickets for later in the week.

Wednesday. Cold front went throught overnight. Much cooler. 40s at night and mid 60s during day. Went to these attractions: Pirates of Caribbean, Country Bear Jamboree, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight(had to use fastpass for that), It's A Small World, and Stitch's Great Escape(nothing exciting for the hype).

Thursday: Rode the monorail over to see the Grand Floridian. Beautiful place especially decorated for Christmas. Shopped at Downtown Disney-bought a fleece jacket to keep warm the rest of trip. Went to 6PM La Nouba show. That was awesome! Worth the price. Category 2 tickets are fine. You don't miss anything and don't have to strain your neck looking up all the time.

Friday: Epcot. Went to the Figment Imagination ride, then Soaring(20min. wait)-loved it!! It was so neat. Then Turtle Talk w/ Crush-more of a kid thing but it was cute. Went back to hotel to print boarding pass for flight next day.
Came back and went through World Showcase, rode the Norway boat ride.
Wait time for Test Track was 80 min. and fastpass time to come back was 3 hrs. later-didn't know where we'd be then(probably eating dinner) so we didn't ride that. Saw Ellen's Energy Adventure and rode Spaceship Earth.
At 9:00pm we went to England to watch Illuminations. You could still find plenty of space by the fence around the lake. I think it was so cold that a lot of people stayed away or this time of year is just slow. Usually they line up more than an hour before to get a good spot to watch. There is a fish and chips fast food window in England and if you go down the winding sidewalk to the right of that, it takes you right down to the water and an out of the way spot to watch the fireworks. Illuminations was worth the 30 minute wait in the cold. Luckily there was no wind.

I guess these wait times are a little unusual because the week after Thanksgiving is a little lighter- crowdwise. I'm sure the closer it gets to Christmas, the worse it will get. But overall, wait times were little if any, especially in the AM.

We just got back today. For our first four hours each morning, we had no waits or waits up to about 10 minutes MAXIMUM. We walked on to a lot of rides all week long. A fantastic week.
