Report from Today - 5 minute lines!

My husband and nephew are at Universal today, and all morning the lines were only 5 mins.! They're doing the heck out of the rides (I'm stuck at home working). I don't know if it's been that dead in general or if the cold is keeping the crowds away in the early mornings lately.

It was in the 20's this morning in Gainesville and I'm sure Orlando wasn't much warmer, and I certainly wouldn't be out riding some of those rides in this weather.

That's why they started at the Studio vs. IOA. Lots of Mummy, Simpsons, and MiB, plus the shows.

We were there this past Sun and Mon (in the rain Monday) there were no lines either.

We are going again sat and sun. I expect it will be more crowded with mardi gras!! But I can hope that we have low crowds this weekend too!!

Not yet. The amphitheater will be ready soon, but KC is not playing there.

In the mean time, there is a stage setup near Mel's Diner.

Was River Adventure open yesterday? According to Universalorlando.com, River Adventure is having rehab.

In a perfect world, they should do the rehab on the cooler days in February so not many are sad that they can't ride it.

^The reason why I am saying this is because I am going on the 10th of February and I really wish this attraction would be open! Accuweather states that Orlando will have a low of 60 and a high of 80 on the 10th with mostly clear skies!

JP River Adventure will be closed for a few more days. It will open As Scheduled.
