Sorry it's been so long to finish up this post. Got home Thursday and been catching up at work ever since. Anyway to finish the story:

Day Five - Back to the Magic Kingdom

Went back to the magic kingdom to do small world 3 more times (I stayed off the third time to help weary travelers find the way) pirates of the carribian which my daughter did not like (but oddly enough, remembers the song), poohs adventure which was a big hit, as well as the race cars, tea cups and buzz lightyear. All great with no lines. Off to Toontown fair, not much for us there, but lots of pics with characters. Took the train to fronteir land and then back to main street to try and avoid the parade (already saw it on day 2). We checked out pics from toontown fair and then visited the polly and Grand Floridian, coming back to the park to get an ornament we were having personallized for our daughter and getting ready for the fireworks.

We were able to get under tinks wire and we watched the fireworks, my daughter was quite impressed seeing tink fly. BTW, there is some great carmel corn to be had at sleepy Hollow in Liberty square, but be sure not to wait till last minute. We went to get some at about 5:10 and they were already closed. Saw the fireworks and they were great. We then headed back.

Day 6 - Animal Kingdom

My Mother and Father in law live in Homassasa and were going to give us a lift back to Tampa airport, so the night before, they came over to the room and stayed over night. For those of you who have been to the All Star Music, picture fitting 4 adults plus a 4 year old, getting ready for the last day of Disney. Anyway, got up with them and packed the bags, put them in their car and headed for the busses. Got on the bus and off to Animal Kingdom, the one park that I had yet to see.

The Tree was great, went to take some pics, but the camera rewound the last roll of film we had, so I had to bow to Disney inflated prices, they wanted 8.00 for a 24 roll of 400 speed film ONE ROLL or I could buy a pack of 4 for 18.00 and get a "free" Advantix disposible camera, went with that one and swolled it. Went and got our fast pass for the safari and then off to one of their trails. Got back in time for the safari and went on that. It was nice, but we went through a little to quick I think, plus they added the poacher thing in there and I did not think it needed it, just seeing the animals would have been fine by me.

Anyway, we all enjoyed the trip. Got off and decided we were hungry so we went to the Rainforest Cafe. If you have never been, be sure to bring your Platinum card ;) $10.00 for a hamburger. Now I had a pizza, but my wife said the burger was one of the best that she ever had. The ambiance is quite different, I guess that's what you pay for. Lunch took way to long, the service there was slow, unfortunatly after all this good behavior, on the last day my daughter starts to act up. As we left, My mother and father in law were shopping and I was clued in that goofy just went up front for pics. Brought my daughter up there and had pics with goofy, pluto, donald and mickey all within 10 min total.

From there headed to the rapids. I was the only one who wanted to do it because the rest of the family was afraid of getting their hinneys wet for the car ride back. Was able to go on it once, had a blast. From there tried to hurry to bugs life around 4 (park closes at 5) and got stopped at the exit of the show with the parade going by. My daughter loved it, she seems to be a parade enthusiast. Enjoyed that and hopped right into the bugs life. We all loved the show, but be forwarned if you have young kids, it can be quite scarry, dark and some of the effects are to real for little ones. I was overwhelmed by some of it, but I thought it was well done. My overall impression of Animal Kingdom was it was very nice, and Disney did a great job, but after being there for the first time, I don't know if I would go out of my way to go back there. I can see alot of the animals at our local zoo's and spend maybe 2 hours at AK, I could not justify spending a days ticket to go there again, but that's just me. Left and checked out the tree and decided since my Father in law had not been on the rockin roller coaster yet and MGM closed in an hour we would go there.

Went on Tower of Terror (walked right on) once and Rockin Roller Coaster twice (again no waiting). Got out just as Fantasmic finnished and headed our way out of Disney. I already missed it.

Well, that's my full report, hope you got something out of it and feel free to ask my any questions, I will do my best to answer them.

Thanks

My goodness! I'm not sure I could ride Small World 3 times! ROFL You would never get that song out of your head. :D Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

And it being her favorite ride I will still not get it out of my head. She keeps singing it

The food at RFC isn't all that great and it's very expensive but the atmosphere is just awesome, isn't it?

I read all of your trip reports and enjoyed each one. Thank you, so much, for taking the time to post these and for sharing your trip with us.
