Report an Employee for Drug Use

My nephew recently got an offer from Walt Disney World and I laughed when I heard because there's no way he could pass the drug screening. I noticed a box on the table today that was basically synthetic urine so I know he's planning on trying to cheat the drug screen. I do not think he would be an asset to any company right now, and he's relapsed several times and refuses to even try to stay clean. Does anyone have the email address or phone number to Disney's Waste, Fraud, and Abuse department so that I can report him, by name, to them so they are aware of his dishonesty? This may seem petty, but his side of the family and I have spent years trying to get him to clean up and nothing has helped. I think forcing him to see the error of his ways by removing his ability to work at a job that he actually wants (instead of just whatever he can get because they don't drug test) because of his refusal to get clean might help wake him up a little.

. None of your business. You do remind me of a person I once worked with. She was always eavesdropping on our private conversations. We got her big time when we said something and new she would run back to. the boss . she got screwed by mgmt. And was told off. In this case stay out if it. Disney has big boy pants and can do it's own job.

Drug testing companies aren't dummies. They have all kinds of metrics to ensure that the urine came out of the person's body. People try to hide other people's urine in parts of their body and they have ways of knowing that. I'm betting there's a "tell" that it's synthetic urine as well.

It's their concern, not yours.

1. Mind your own business. Companies that really care about those drug screens can take steps to identify synthetic urine. Many do not do so because the drug screen is a matter of liability prevention ("He was clean when we hired him! How could we know otherwise?" if the employee tests positive after an on-the-job accident) rather than a genuine hurdle to clear. I have no idea which camp Disney falls into, but if they're serious about their testing they'll be able to tell he's trying to fake it out and he won't get the job.

2. Has it ever occurred to you that a job he cares about might be able to accomplish what all the nagging in the world can't by giving him an internal motivation to stay clean? By getting in the way of that because you resent that he wasn't receptive to your previous efforts, you could be taking away the very thing that would be best for him.

My sister works in HR and she told me someone tried to use cat urine to pass their drug test. Didn’t work. I have known a few people who abuse drugs or alcohol that worked for Disney and it always comes out.
Back in the day before drug testing facilities got way, WAY more savvy my DH worked with a guy who would wake up his pre school son to pee in a bottle for him. Nowadays it’s 100% random where DH works and you are accompanied by someone start to finish.

OP this sounds so much like this is more of a means to get revenge for personal issues you have with the individual. It does sound petty TBH.

Having it doesn't mean he will be using it even if you think the chances are high. Sounds like you're trying to sabotage his chances of employement before he even gets there.

There's a high chance, more likely these days, he'll be found out IF he uses it.

Even if his potential place of employment isn't Disney let his potential place of employment handle it.

Have some compassion and love, you never know when something as simple as a new job might start someone on the rode to wanting to better themselves. Don't be harsh and run to destroy an opportunity for anyone. The truth always comes out eventually anyways. Karma has a way of catching up with harsh people, be kind and just let it flow out.
