on our next trip to SL after complaining there was a bottle of water in the room and some very strange chocs. that was it. lol that might have been standard stuff in that type of room anyway.

i wouldnt get any hopes up.

Alot depends on the class of hotel you choose. When the manager worked a little magic for us at the opening of WDSP - we were given a lake view mini suite, with a bottle of champagne and two souvenir glasses filled with DLP boiled sweets. One of the many reasons why we try to stay at the HNY when we are not at Marriott.

Well whatever happens I'm staying in the hotel I've wanted to stay in since I was 11, so it's all a dream come true for me.

Even if I get no 'extra magic' it will still be a super magical time!!

Wonder what you would get if you complained about Santa Fe hotel? An extra toilet roll?

here's hoping they sprinkle some extra magic . We did only get the chocs and a bottle of water but we had a very nice large room with a balcony view. I do guess it depends which hotel as that was at the SL... Good luck and hope they make it magical for you

My full name is Robyn (The is a middle name, its not a double barrell name).... When I marry Robert I'll be Robyn, unless I opt for , which doesn't sound right and is too much of a mouthful.....!!

I'm sure you will have a wonderful time - the DLH is fab. We stayed there for the first time in March this year and loved it. As soon as we arrived
we noticed the excellent level of service. It's a lovely hotel, but made even better by the very helpful attitide of the CMs.

This is from my March trip report

...our luggage was immediately taken care of without us having to take it into the hotel ourselves (very impressed with level of service at the DLH). We collected park passes from DLH reception (didn't need to wait more than a couple of minutes before being attended to)

I'm hoping to use the pool a few times. (Well more the hot tub to get the chills out of my bones in th evenings!!) Really looking forward to a lovely relaxing trip, much different speed to our last one.

I had a great time doing 8-am to midnight, and adored the fireworks etc. But can't wait to really enjoy my hotel and its amenities and stuff too.
