replacement?

at IOA, i thought that there used to be like a triceratops trail or something like that at Jurassic Park Island. i heard that it closed down and i was wondering is there was any news on if it was being replaced by something. idk maybe i just dreamed this.

There's a dinosaur play area for the kids with climbing areas etc and a Pteradactyl (?) flying ride thing for the kids. Then, of course there's the Jurassic Park ride.
These were all there in Februarry - not sure if you mean any of these tho

The OP means Triceratops Discovery Trail which is closed now. It had a life-sized animatronic Triceratops.

We thought this was cute, and really looked real when we had seen it on previous trips. In fact when my GD was 6 she thought it was real. In December we could not find it, so we asked. We were told that it was a victim of the Aug/Sept hurricanes and that is why it closed.

Thanks! I couldnt figure it out because when we were there prior to sept it was up and running. What a shame it was an exhibit we all enjoyed seeing through the kids eyes. I hope they make something spectacular with the space!

yeah now they just have it blocked off with plants and they even took down the sign along with the photospot sign a few months after it closed
correct me if im wrong but weren't they thinking about ripping out pterenadon flyers to put in the new possible roller coaster?

thats what i heard as far as the new ride......i want a roller coaster but many people think a jeep safari tour would be better for the area.

An outdoor ride like Indiana Jones in Disneyland would be neat!

I gotta agree! I figured I was in the minority. Then again, the Hulk and Dragons is enough for me, but not coaster loving people!
