I"m hoping someone can help me....

The last time we went to WDW, we had the refillable Brita sport water bottle. These, have since, been discontinued. Well, we've moved, and I can't find our water bottle (DH thinks it didn't make the move).

This bottle saved us at least $200... Has anyone found a different, similar option to use in the parks?

TIA

D~

I can't give you the actual website, but google " pure water 2 go" and you'll get one. I haven't tried it yet, and I'm still debating. But it's the same idea as the brita bottle.

HTH!

I've been searching too.... Culligan carries a similar (if not identical) water bottle for $12.99 and 2 replacement filters are $12.99. This was at waterfilters.net

I did find the Pure 2 go ones, as well... all of them seem to be similar.

Looks like I'll be ordering from one of these web sites.

You might be able to find a better deal on eBay. That is where I got mine. I searched for "filter water bottle" and got a choice of a few. I went with one that has a carbon filter, and it did the job well at WDW. Also came with replacement filters.

I've seen threads on this topic before. I've always wondered why do you use a filtered water bottle at WDW?

because the water tastes bad! popcorn::
some people just order bottled water by the case delivered to their room as an alternative to a filter water bottle

We buy bottled water on our first day in the park (to get the bottles) then use a Britta pitcher back in the room to refill them each night.

That is an understatement. I consider the water that comes out of the park water fountains to be undrinkable.:rolleyes1

Just curious to those who have used the filtered water bottles. How much does that help in terms of improving the taste?

I've took the Brita water bottle to WDW twice and yes it really does help. It takes a lot of the chemical taste out of the water. We like to take the water bottle so we don't have to carry around full bottles in the parks. Also I can only drink water when it's cold (when it gets warm I can't hardly choke it down), so we just fill it from from the water fountain and drink it right then.

We fill ours from the water fountain, or ask for a cup of water from a CS restaurant. It is free but it tastes like.. it tastes like New Jersey in the summertime. The little carbon filter in the bottle I use takes all the bad taste away. It is like drinking out of my Pur Pitcher. I love it. I actually spent an entire week in WDW and never once bought a bottle of water.

We're lucky.....we drive so we stop at the Walmart there and get a case of water for only 4 bucks!!

I'm moving this one over to the Disney Tips board.. the experts there probably have some wonderful ideas for this.
