Renting thru organizations like TUG ????????

I have heard about renting condos/villas through TUG...

I am hoping to hear from any of you who have done this. It seems risky to rent from some individual that you do not know. There are some advertisements on TUG renting units at the DVC resorts!

Cany anyone tell me if they have rented through a TUg member who they felt was reputable.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

I might be a bit prejudiced since I belong to TUG but for the most part they are a great group of people.

Looks like my in-laws may have an extra time-share week that they will let us use, just for the fees... Our trip for next year may be all set!

Lots of DVCers do rent their points. The "going rate" for right now seems to be on the $10-15pp range, depending on when you go, etc.

It's a great way to get DVC accomodations without having to be a member
