renting strollers

I read somewhere that you can rent strollers in like a "5 day stroller rental" which is less expensive per day. Anyone know any info on this?

Yes, this option is available at any of the Disney Theme parks, but not at Downtown Disney, although they will honor it. Please note that if you are visiting DTD the strollers and wheelchairs are 1st come, 1st served, in a very limited quantity, they only have single strollers and they all require a $20 deposit to rent, regardless of whether you have paid for the length of stay (which does not guarantee you a stroller or wheelchair) and must be kept with you at ALL TIMES, and cannot be removed from Downtown Disney property.

we did this last year.on your first day tell them you want a 5 day rental. I can't remember how much it cost but it was cheaper then paying for one day at a time.

when our son needed a stroller we always stopped at Walmart or Target and purchased a checp fold-up umbrella stroller (around $10-15) then we used it all week. Before we left to come back home we looked for a family that had a child and gave them the stroller and then asked that when their vacation was completed they would to pass it along to the next family. It was a great way for us to save money, but help others save as well.

I can tell you what 4 days is for a double stroller. I have my reciept. Its broken down like this.
4 qty dbl stroller rental @ $11.83 each $47.32
4 qty stroller deposit @ $1.00 each $4.00
sales tax $3.08
total $54.40

If I would have done 4 days seperately it would have been $60.00. Not sure if they add tax or not to single days. First day we did a single day rental for a double stroller for $15.00. We were waiting in the longggggggggg stroller line at MK and I CM told us we could go into the gift shop which had a shorter line, while we were standing in that line a CM asked if we were waiting for a stroller rental and we gave him the $15 and he gave us our stroller ticket.
Its about a 10% discount.
