If we rent somebody's points do we get free parking? I am trying to decide if I want to book through Disney while they are having a sale or rent points. If we pay cash they clean every day..does this mean head to toe cleaning including dishes? Or just like vacuuming and that sort of thing?

Yes, you do get free parking by renting points. You also get free laundry tokens if staying a studio.

Not sure what the price difference is between renting points and the current promo. They do a regular cleaning if you're paying cash and not staying on points, but I can't speak to how in depth it is. My assumption would be making the beds, replacing towels, taking trash, etc. Probably also taking dirty dishes and replacing with clean ones. The benefit to a cash reservation is that you also retain the control over it so you can make changes, add notes to it, etc. When renting points, you're at the mercy of the DVC owner who owns your reservation.

We stayed in July paying cash. They made the beds, replaced towels, took out the trash, and ran the dishwasher. I am not sure if they vacuumed. They did a nice job.

Renting points is going to (likely) be cheaper than directly through Aulani, even with the winter sale. You could pay a fee to have them come clean the villa a couple of times if that is important (they include one cleaning with a week stay (maybe it is just trash and towel service?)) -- it will certainly be less than a day of parking if you are paying cash. Depending on when you want to go, DVC rooms may not be available (they were sold out right after the 7 month point for the week we are going in Feb) and in that case, the current deal is pretty decent. Especially if you book through Costco and do it in time to get the free meal voucher. The Costco packages include transfers or a rental car - if you don't plan to tour Oahu a ton, the transfer option will save you probably $500 over a rental car (car fee + parking). We figured out it would be cheaper for us to do the airport transfer package and rent a car for 2/5 days from Alamo on site than to have a rental car the whole time. That parking fee is so high!

We are planning may 2017 and I'm using one of the services to rent the points. They are going to try to secure the reservation right at the 7 month mark. We are looking at a 2 bedroom.

Parking seems to be about the same for hotels in Oahu as it is in big cities on the mainland for the most part. I've been told for some places in Honolulu or Waikiki the parking runs around $20-50/night. Last weekend in San Diego we paid $40 for overnight parking at a Marriott :P

I am also going in May 2017 from 25th-31st. I rented points using DVC-rental. You don't need to wait for the 7 month mark.

For us, after doing the math, I still save about $500 plus I get the free parking and laundry perk (which is another $250ish) if I rent instead of waiting for a Disney sale. With the Disney sale they usually offer one free meal (from Ulu Cafe) and round trip shuttle. I'm not interested in either of those.
