Renting Points - MagicBands

If I'm renting DVC points, do I still get Magicbands, or do I have to order them? If I get them automatically, how soon after my renter makes the reservation will they ship? Or, is it based on arrival date?

When we borrowed points from my aunt, we created a MyDisneyExperience account and added the reservation #. After that, everything worked the same as any other reservation. So yes, you will have to order them, your MDE account will show the last day to personalize them, I believe it is about 30 days out from arrival day and then they ship!

Once I had a reservation number last year it worked the same as if I had made my own reservation. Chrelaine echos our experience on MB shipment.
