renting points from the owner's side

We are considering buying in and I have some questions about renting points from the standpoint of an owner, is this difficult to do? How hard it is to rent as a first time renter, is it difficult to get people to rent your points?

How much do you want for your points? At $9/point you can specify pretty much any terms you want and still have no trouble renting. If you want $15/point, you're going to have to do a lot of work.

We just bought in April, and had too many points with the extra year. I rented my points, and have had ZERO problems.
I was nervous at first, but it went very smoothly.

thanks I would be flexible with price as needed, just wanted to know if it was tough for new owners to get in the game and if there were more renters than owners out there or the other way around.

Look around on the rent/trade boards, you'll see who is renting out (as members) and can private message them with questions about how they go about it. Most are very willing to help, it worked for me a few years ago - we only rented once so far and I needed some advice. I found it by pm ing an owner and all went very well.
