The rule is one TRANSFER either in or out in a year. That means one DVC member transfering points to another DVC member. It has nothing to do with renting to non-members.I thought DVC said that we can only transfer and trade out points once per year. Does that not pertain to renting, as well?
...I am surprised to hear myself defending renting, because I'm one of those who kind of believes that renting too cheaply devalues DVC. ....

My wife swears the resorts look run-down because of DVD's easy financing....My husband swears it the cause of BCV looking so run down.

Define professional renting. Is it anyone who rents their points considered a "professinal renter" in your view? DVC defines professional renting as 20 reservations in someone elses name in one year.I am against the 'professional' renting, not renting by someone who happens to have some extra points.
Professional renting does devalue DVC in my opinion.

. Guess in your eyes I'm a professional. But I'll leave the rest of my comments to the rental thread in the Misc. board since that was more or less a direct attack on my rental thread.
