Renting points for Bonnet Creek

I am interested in possibly renting points for a Wyndham Bonnet Creek stay. How do I go about finding owners that are renting out points besides vacationupgrades.com? I've seen this mentioned but don't know where to look for the owners that want to rent. DVC rentals abound. Where are the Bonnet Creek ones? Please be gentle, I'm new and learning ;)

I rented through a DISr before I went through Ken Price. Maybe someone will pop up!

Just curious as to why you don't want to rent from Ken? Many of us on the dis have rented from him and everyone has been very happy with the transaction.

Certainly I would rent from Ken. I was just starting out and wondering what all of the options are. That's all. I have read only great things about him. Perhaps I like to look into things too much when the obvious choice is right in front of me!

I have gotten great deals on Ebay, as there are many people who have made a business out of renting Bonnet Creek stays.

Just for the heck of it, I checked Ebay and there are some great BC deals out there! Just be sure to read the person's feedback. I've already booked our April BC reservations, but I found an Ebay listing with a 100% feedback seller for our same dates for $360 less. Might be worth checking out for any future stays.

We've used myresortnetwork.com a couple times and have been very happy with the owner we chose from there.

Hope this helps!

We happen to own at BC and are willing to rent out points. PM me for more info.... :thumbsup2

We are currently booked at POFQ for two weeks - Oct.24-Nov.6. I have only ever stayed on Disney property and love it, but with having such a long trip planned we are liking the idea of a 2 bedroom at Bonnet Creek for much less money. We have two girls that will be 5 & 7 at the time of the trip and we are planning on shorter park days with down time to actually relax!

If we rented points we would probably go through Ken because of all the positive things I have read here. Does he have an unlimited amount of points to rent or if I wait too long could he run out? How far in advance do we have to book? I see this time of year is considered value season for Bonnet Creek, so probably not the busiest time of year. I was hoping to wait and see if Disney releases any discounts for the fall before I change anything.

What is the cancellation policy if renting points?

Thanks for your help.

So glad you are considering BC! Of course I am a huge fan, so I am quite biased, but I think choosing it for your 2-week trip is a good idea. First off, one room, two beds, one bathroom, and one small fridge will get very old after one week. BC has tons of space including two beds, two baths, a full kitchen, living room, and dining area (if you get a 2-bed of course). You can really stretch out! You will lose out on EMH, but being that you'll be there for 2 weeks, that should not be a problem at all.

BC will probably end up being cheaper for you in the long run. You are likely going to pay about $120 or less each night, but Ken can often get you a better price. We are paying $90/night for our April trip.

I have booked a little as 6 weeks in advance (July trip) and also 5 months in advance (upcoming April trip).

Our cancellation policy with him is pretty good. This is what it says in my documents:

"Should Renter cancel, Owner agrees to return all monies received, less $129. However, Renter is not able to cancel this agreement fewer than 20 days before the arrival date without forfeiting all monies paid. If any payment is more than 5 days late, then Owner shall deem Renter to have cancelled."

I don't know that he has unlimited points. That's a good question!
