Renting points? Disney Vacation Account

Hi, Hope this is the right place to ask... Just started considering renting points but have been saving in a disney vacation account. If I rent points like through David's I understand I pay them with cc but can I use my DVA to pay for dining plan? I would give David's my account #? And I can buy tickets through DVA and link them? THanks!

Based on the DVA 'User Agreement', you can't give a third party (someone that's not Disney) your account number.

9. You agree to keep your Account number and your password for this web site confidential. You agree not to permit any other person to use your Account number or password. You also agree to review each confirmation that Disney sends you regarding your Account and notify Disney of any inaccuracy or error or of any indication of fraudulent or unauthorized activity within 90 days of the date that the confirmation is made available to you. If you fail to do so, Disney shall not be responsible for any losses to your Account that could have been avoided if you had so notified Disney.

You can purchase admission directly from Disney using the DVA.

You could buy a gift card and give that number to Davids

Can't the OP get a Disney Gift Card from the DVA? If yes, I don't see why that couldn't be given to the member to pay for dining. I don't know if David's will take gift cards, though.

During the life of a Disney Vacation Account, no more than $500 in total from the Disney Vacation Account can be used to purchase Disney Gift Cards.
