So when I was last at WDW I noticed there were scooters at the hotel that people had rented from offsaite businesses. I was just wondering how that worked. Do you have to be there when they drop it off? Or do they just drop it off the moprning you're supposed to arrive?

Take a look at the FAQ thread at the top of the page, there is lots of information about the offsite companies up there. Most of them will get all of your information and CC info in advance and then will drop the scooter off with Bell Services the day of your arrival and then you leave it with them when you leave.

I haven't rented from offsite in a few years but when I did I used Randy's and he did require that we meet in person for the drop off, but I appreciated that so he could show me how it worked, how to break it down for car transport and we could go over the condition of it in together. We also met in person for the pick up but I am not sure if we had to or it just worked out that way. So you can pick which ever company you feel most comfortable with.

Oh and Buena Vista Scooters has had a location on the Boardwalk where I guess you can go and pick one up. I don't know much about that or if it is even still there.

It's still the same as lovetoscrap wrote.:)
