Hi all... we are renting a DVC Villa in the Beach Club and I'm not sure what to bring. They'll be 5 of us and we are staying in a two bedroom for a week. I know I need to bring coffee filters (flat bottom or coned?). What about dish soap, soap for dishwasher, dish towels, paper towels, soap, shampoo, utensils? Anything else? What am I missing? Thanks in advance for any help,

Here is the list of what is in the room. I believe the coffee maker uses flat filters. It's not listed but they do have paper towels. The laundry detergent is good for only one or two uses. I use Garden Grocer for supplies and will get a small bottle of detergent. Dish soap is a small bottle but should be plenty to last the week. I also think the dish washer soap should also last. About half way through the week you will recieve a trash and towel service that includes:

•Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
•Provide fresh bathroom linens.
•Replace shampoo, facial soap and bath soap.
•Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
•Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
•Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges and laundry detergent as needed in one-, two- and three-bedroom Vacation Homes.

You will get all mentioned (utensils are metal not plastic & dishes ceramic not paper).

If you are staying on rented points for less than 8 days then Trash and Towel Day will be day 4(counting check in day as Day 1) and on that day all soaps, paper products & coffee items are replenished and will also receive fresh towels (but not fresh bed linens) and trash will be removed from your villa although you can do that anytime you'd like as there are trash room locations in resort and extra liners will be in bottom of trash pails in your unit.

Coffee filters are flat bottom and you might want to take some coffee along (paks you receive are just 'starters' that I think only make 4 cups or maybe 6 and creamer is powdered) If planning to do alot of laundry bring detergent too as there's box that does just 1 load when you check in and you'll receive 1 additional box on Trash & Towel Day.

If you are staying on regular cash reservation booked through Disney's Central Reservations then you would receive daily housekeeping service.

Enjoy :goodvibes

If you use lots of creamer, you'll need more than the one or two single use packets you get with the coffee in the room (only replaced on day four and day eight...). You'll need sugar, salt, pepper since those are not provided. You might have enough shampoo, conditioner, shower gel for everyone with the stuff provided, but you may also want to bring your own from home to make sure you have enough.

We generally only bring toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) as the supplies in the unit aren't quite enough to last us. Most everything else, we just buy there as we need it (and we could buy the toiletries there too if we had a mind to.) Coffee filters, extra laundry detergent, etc. can all be had at the resort store or through Mousekeeping for a very modest charge. If you want to lay in provisions, it might be worth ordering from Garden Grocer or a similar service; we often do.

Mostly, the only thing you need to bring is cash or credit. ;)
