If you are renting DVC points will the resort treat you any different than they would a member? Is there anyway for the resort or other guests to know who in fact are members and who are there on rented points? If you are not a member will you be bothered at all with a DVC sales pitch all all during your stay?

Thank you!

We rented ,before we bought, and I didn't feel we were treated any differently. There is no way for anyone else to know that you have rented.

One of the differences in the DVC program is that you have no sales people pressuring you unless you want them too.

Enjoy your trip-I hope you find it magical!!

They will not treat you any different, however the person you are renting from should have let member services know that the reservation is a rental.

Members are required to do that.

You do know that DVC members on points reservations get different housekeeping than hotel reservations through Disney Reservation Center, right? Very limited services, every four days, you have to stay eight nights to get one full cleaning on day four. Otherwise, you just get your trash removed and towels replaced on day four. You can't just ask for extra cleaning services towels, shampoo, etc without paying for them.
