Renting DVC points - tickets and dining concerns

Hi all,

We currently have a resv at pop with the following added:

Special Rate Type May Magic Your Way Package Offer
Room Type Standard View Room
Park Tickets: 10 Day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper(R) and Water Park Fun and More Options
Package Type: Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining

We're staying for 12 nights, so the dining covers all 12 (I think!), but we have the 10 day MYW tickets because the options will cover the other days.

Anyway, I made a post looking for a DVC rental for the same period since it seems like it wouldn't cost much more than the rack rate we have per night at pop... but I have a few questions...

1. Are the same MYW tickets with the hopper/fun/more options available with a DVC rental?
2. Does the ticket/dining package cost more if I do it from a DVC rental or is it the same price?
3. Does the owner need to make the ticket/dining purchase and ME signup for me? If so, do I pay them or the hotel when I get there?
4. Any pitfalls that I'm not considering? I rented some points for a few days at BCV in 2005, but we didn't get tickets or have the dining plan, etc back then.

The tickets are the same ones you can get anywhere, but you must get them on your own. The Magic Your Way tickets may be purchased at the ticket windows, at Downtown Disney, at the resort, or ordered online before you leave. You can also buy them at the Disney Store.

The dining plan is $39/adult/day. I don't remember what it is for kids. If you rent, you pay this when you check into the resort, just like DVC members would do, but you MUST have the DVC member you rent from reserve it for you ahead of time.

The member you are renting from also needs to notify MS of your request for ME if you need that.
