Renting DVC points for Aulani

Is there a way to find out if there is any availability at the Aulani on the dates we will be in Hawaii?

We are doing a NCL cruise this summer and are staying on Ohau for 4 nights after the cruise. We are thinking about Aulani, but would probably only be able to swing it if we are able to rent DVC points for our stay.

I'm not sure how I would go about this to even see if there is availability for us to even consider it.

There are 9 of us, so we would need a 2 BR (edited to remove dates).

If this is not the proper place to ask this, I'd love to be directed to the correct place.

Only members can check availability. Since you are less than 7 months from arrival, you can hop over to the DIS Rent/Trade Board & reply to any thread offering to rent points. The member can check dates for you and make the reservation (assuming you agree with their terms and there is availability).

Another option is to go through one of the brokers that match up owners with renters. David's (www.dvcrequest.com) gets good reviews and is one of the DISboards sponsors.
