Renting DVC points and parking

We will be using a family friends points in February to stay at the Poly . Will we be required to pay for parking since we are not members?

You will park for free at the theme parks since you are a resort guest. And you will park for free at your resort since you are staying on a DVC reservation.

DVC maintenance dues pay for Standard parking. Any reservation that is paid for with DVC points, whether it is a DVC villa or a Disney Collection hotel room, has parking included at no additional cost to the person using the points.

But sometimes, especially if you are staying at a hotel in the Disney Collection, then you might need to bring it up with them, since they might not see DVC as often at the non-DVC resort hotels. However, the people at Poly will be well aware of this.

I have no idea how many cars, in that one party, are paid for, but I suppose it could include up to one for each person who is the room reservation. You will need to call them and ask them, if that is the case.

If you are DVC but you don’t pay with points - like if you pay cash for a standard hotel room - then parking is not included.
