Renting car

My bf and I are going to WDW April 8-16, 2017. We will be going to Disney four days and then going to Star Wars celebration for three days. My question is: how should we get to the convention center for those three days?i was thinking of renting a car just for those three days but how do I go about doing that in WDW? Does anyone know if there will be shuttles to the convention center? Thank you!

You can rent a car on property for the days you need. There is a Car Care Center near the MK that will pick you up to pick up/drop off from any resort. There is also a rental location at the Dolphin Hotel as well. You can look both of them up through the Alamo website to see rates. Mousesavers.com has good info. on all locations. If you sign up for their free Insiders Club, you get a small discount and quick pick up. There are also promo codes to try on Mousesavers and sites like RetailMeNot. You can reserve now, and then keep checking rates, as they can go down and you can rebook anytime.
