Renting car for beach day!

We have visited twice before and drove both times so we've always had our vehicle with us. We enjoy Disney transportation and solely used our car to drive to Clearwater Beach and back on our rest day. This December we are flying and not renting a car but would still like to visit the ocean. After doing some research I think we are going to rent a car form Alamo through the Disney Car Care Center for the day. Is this the best option or is there something out there I am missing. We only need the car for a day and the hours would be like 8am to 7pm and it's costing aroung 55$ as of now.

We often rent from one of the Disney Springs hotels - a little cheaper but they close at 5PM.

You can also rent from Alamo and pick up the car at Dolphin. Return to the Valet and they’ll note the return time.

We have rented from Dollar at the Wyndham hotel on the corner across from DS. Ride the bus to DS and walk across the street to the dollar location. Rates at dollar tend to be cheaper than Alamo. It was a lot easier when the bus stop was at the old location at DS so you will have to make the walk down to the old bus stop and cross the street to get to the hotel.

We just rented a car from the Car Care Center this last weekend. VisitOrlando had a discount on a couple of rental companies.
