Ok here's my question. My family and I will arrive in Orlando 4/20 and we'll leave on 4/26. We want to rent a midsize SUV at the airport when we arrive and return it on 4/22 at a Disney hotel. Since we are AAA members we want to use Hertz. Are there any Hertz locations inside of Disney? :confused3 I'd rather not deal with a car the entire week. Am I crazy?
Hope you have info!

I would suggest looking at other companies besides Hertz. Even with the AAA discount, we find their rates to be higher than most of the other rental car companies. Just to give you an idea, I checked National for April 20 -22 and you can get a mid-size SUV for about $150 including taxes using the codes/coupons found at www.mousesavers.com. You can return the vehicle to the Dolphin Hotel. I didn't check other companies - you may be able to get a better deal.

I can't say for sure where you would return your Hertz car once at WDW. The DTD hotels tend to have some car rental companies on-site. We are renting a car through Budget in August and we will head over to DTD and then walk to the Double Tree to pick it up. Hertz may also have a shuttle that will take you back to your resort after you drop the car off at their office. Their website should be able to give you that info.
The only car rental companies that are actually in WDW are Alamo and National. National has just closed down their operation at the Car Care Center over by the MK. But, both are still (I believe anyway!) operating out of the Dolphin. Alamo is still at the CCC also.

Hertz now has an office at Shades of Green. Alamo/National is at the Dolphin and Disney Car Care Center. Dollar is at the Grosvenor. Budget and Avis are at other hotels on Hotel Blvd (one of them is at the Hilton and the other is at the Doubletree, I believe). I rent for part of the time too - it's a great idea, and it's nice not to have to deal with a rental car when you're trying to catch your flight - just hop on Magical Express!
