Renting car for a few days only

I have heard that there is a car rental place in WDW
(Contemporary, maybe).
So, I am wondering if the cost would be alot more to rent a car for a day or two, just to go to the beach.
Or, better/cheaper to rent for the whole week at airport.
Right now, I am getting a rate of 258.00 for the whole week .
Has anyone rented in WDW ?

Lots of folks take DME to the resort, then rent a car at the Disney Car Care Center or the Dolphin Hotel from National or Alamo.
We are renting a mid-size from the car care center from 12/5 to 12/9 for a total of $122 for the 4 days. DH likes the Disney Magical Express Bus, so we take that to our resort, then we call National for a courtesy pick-up.
I've also rented for just one day for about $35 to $40 for the day.

We have also rented from National at Dolphin because we are at BWV. I found a big jump in price once I went over 4 days so try different numbers of days.
