Renting at MCO dropping off at WDW

Can I rent a car at the airport and drop it off at the car care center at WDW? My daughter needs to leave later than the rest of us so I thought instead of 2 lyfts I'd rent a car to get us from the airport to our resort and then drive back to pick her up a few hours later. This would be great because I could stop by a grocery store for a few snacks, too.

But when I try to set up a rental at Alamo the car care center isn't a drop off choice. I could be missing something so I thought someone here might know

Could your requested drop off time be after the Alamo office at car care center closes for the night?

You could try for a drop off at Dolphin or drop off next morning

I have always returned Alamo to the Dolphin, and Avis to the Hilton at DS. They seem to not care what car class you are returning, where as sometimes the CCC does seem to have restrictions on the fleet.

I'm not sure the Dolphin rental desk has reopened yet. But if it shows up as an option that's a good sign, but I'm not seeing it on the Swan/Dolphin app. You can check with S/D too, 407-934-4095

Thanks! I'm staying at the Swan and I had no idea there was a rental location right there at the Dolphin. I just looked on the alamo website and nothing is showing up as an option to drop off there, though.

There is an Avis desk in the hallway off the lobby. It's a small operation - there's only maybe 6 spaces - but it was painless to return the car there and we walked back to DS. It's just like any other rental car return.
