Renting a Reservation Question

I have a reservation for BLT in February that we may not be able to fulfill. We borrowed the points to make this reservation so canceling is not an option. Can anyone explain how you rent an existing reservation? I've seen posts from others that have done this. Do you just change the names on the existing reservation?

Hi Betsy!! I have rented existing reservations before. Once you find a buyer and agree on price, you can just call Disney and have the names, address, phone number, and ages of anyone under 18 changed to the new people. It's very easy. Disney then sent me a new confirmation that I forwarded to the buyers.
