Renting a locker

At AK, lockers are passed security.

They are past the entrance gates inside the park and on your left as you enter ("security" is outside the gates.)

Would security see me as a threat if I had a full backpack and a empty backpack I know weird question just trying to figure out how they think

Normally they wouldn't but all this backpack talk is making me suspicious so I'll be sure to report you to them when I'm there in September. Gotta protect the Kingdom at all cost!

No. They'll look in both. Both will be fine. But I don't understand what the empty one is for.

I don't know what the low is going to be so if the low is 30 or below when we go chances are I we'll need the winter coat as it worms up during the day and I get warmer one backpack well already have the water bottles that you put in recycling and my wallet and cell phone

So the empty one will be for jackets regardless if it's just the winter one or all three

According to this (http://www.wdwinfo.com/tips_for_touring/lockers.htm), there are at Epcot and DHS. Not sure if the ones listed for AK outside the main entrance would be before or after security.
I think at AK they're after security.

The $8 one should be large enough for a large backpack, I've done that before. Pack it as well as you can. We always rented them first thing in the morning. There are some large outside the park ones (except for MK) but we haven't used them yet

Yes. Well past security.

Remember that not everyone knows your trip plans and when you be there.

Also, making sure...you live in FL? So you know that sometimes it's literally freezing and sometimes it's broiling then?

And I figure if you have your backpack, coat, and bottles you can see what works now.

You mentioned renting it in the morning but not needing it until the afternoon. Wouldn't it be more of the opposite, maybe not needing the warmth (so putting it in the locker) earlier, but as the sun sets taking it out of the locker and putting it on?
OP lives in Orlando area.

I am sure plenty of you have done it I never needed to till this trip

The info I got from google is that it is 8 to 10 dollars I just don't think my backpack can hold my winter jacket and water bottles plus wallet I might be wrong

Before posting this did you try putting everything into your backpack to see if it would fit? I feel like you often post things searching for answers.

I do not always take a backpack into the park, but can tell you that the backpack that I take to work has the following in it: my purse that measures 10"x7"x4", a 40oz water bottle, a sweater, a book for reading, my weekly planner (to track everyone's activities), and my lunchbox. Plus the smaller outside pouch is filled with more than I need.... Therefore one can reasonably assume that a standard adult sized backpack can hold your jacket, wallet, and a few water bottles.

My mistake was trying a smaller backpack vrs a bigger backpack

There's no mistake in posting this, you just need to also post all of the details. Knowing that it was a small backpack instead of a regular sized backpack would have been of assistance in answering the question.
