Any advice for renting a house for a large group to stay in? What's the current situation with short-term house rentals in Anaheim? I recall hearing something about them being shut down, but I still see many advertised.

Best sites to rent from? Any to avoid? How to make sure we won't get screwed over? I'm very new to this but it seems much more economical for our large group than individual hotel rooms.

The ban on short term rentals in residential areas was passed in July 2016, with an 18 month period to give people who were doing it a chance to clear their books.

If you're looking to book a rental ending before 31 Dec 2017, some places are still doing it. After that - they aren't LEGALLY allowed to. But I'd be surprised if there weren't people who do it anyway.

Good luck.

Thank you :( Looks like I'll miss that window. I assume even if I book through a reputable site I could still get screwed over because of the ban.
