Renting a Home

Thanks for the link.Trying to pick the right home for 10+ people is not that easy, how far in advance did you guys book your home? Is Emerald & Windsor right off of 192?

yes both are right off formosa gardens blvd which is off 192 on the map I gave you. The home we rented was 6 bed 5 bath and could easily fit 12. It depends on when you want to go? If it is at xmas or easter you have to book a year in advance I would guess. If its off season any time. Also all the homes have availability calendars. You can see if the time you want is open.

This home was really nice.

I have a great recommendation!
5 bedrooms / 4 full bathrooms (each has a shower) main one has Hot Tub!
2 Masters have king beds!
3rd and 4th bedrooms have 2 twin beds in each room, and the 5th bedroom has a Quuen Size. The website below, gives u a chacne to see al by virtual Tour plus has pictures!

I stayed there last month. Its in INdian Creek. Disney is about 5 to 10 minutes away (all depends on the traffic). Its off of the Formosa Gardens Blvd turn! Its is a nice and quiet area!

The owner is very nice! He is quick to respond to any questions and etc.
It was 95 per night when I booked it in Feb. I think he raised it for the peak season which would be 99!

Sorry about that. Someone posted a link to this great site for Windsor palms and I did see a couple had reverted their garage in to a Game room along with a Pool Table. I will see if I can find the link.

It does have a games room in the garage with a pool table, foosball and airhockey. I haven't beent here yet, but it gets great reviews and the woman has been very friendly! I wanted a 6 bedroom in Emerald Island and this looks like it will fit the bill! Since these photos she has emailed me updated pics of the kids rooms. They now have a buzz lightyear rocket ship bed, a pumpkin coach bed, 2 rooms with 2 castle beds.

Debbie, the owner has been great to work with.They also own another home , as well.

Our home was rented, I am out of DVC points and have friends joining us this trip.we are looking forwar dto staying here.

That house looks nice. The only thing I wouldn't like is there's just one bathroom upstairs for the 3 bedrooms. There are 3 full baths on the first floor though.

With 3 bedrooms I am surprised there is only 1 bath. They really build those houses like hotels. Almost as many baths as beds. Might be busy getting ready.

Well, the house is a 5 b/r 4 1/2 ba with 2 Masters downstairs with their own full baths, and another full bath downstairs probably off of the lounge area. The 3 b/r's upstairs do only share one bath, but I think we'll manage pretty well with the extra bath downstairs. I agree, it would be nice to have another bath upstairs but I think the house is still GREAT! Oh, and there's a 1/2 bath for the pool (somewhere??...). We'll have 4 adults (with our own baths ) and 4 kids but I think we'll all be able to get ready for the day rotating the adult baths if necessary. WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Hi, I used VBRO.com to book for Aug. the only thing I caution is that some of the homes back up to 6 other homes that is something I did NOT want. I made sure there was nothing behind us, but we have never booked a house before either and I am really looking forward to it.

That was also one of my dislikes about some of the villas.

A very nice Dis'er was kind enough to go to this specific home, during last year's storms I might add, and take pictures of the entire outside and gated entrance of the complex for me and e-mailed them to me. Believe me, I've done some extensive research for this first trip ours. The back of our villa faces a bricked wall and beyond that is the street (if you look at the picture of the pool area you can see it beyond the yard). I like that better, but I do have concerns about street accessibility. But, since it's gated I'm going to try not to be so paranoid .
