I had asked about the pack n plays that you can use at the resorts, but now I am starting to worry. If my daughter happens to grow just an inch, I'm sure she will not fit into a pack n play.

Has anyone rented a full size crib from ABBF? Is it easy to put together?

If you have rented a crib from ABBF, please tell me your FULL experince that you had with this company. From getting the crib, to putting it together, to finally your last day when it had to be turned in.

Was it worth the money? According to the website, we will be paying $70 for 5 nights.

Or has anyone rented a toddler bed from them? We need something for our little girl to sleep in cause there is no way she can sleep in the same bed with her brother. Plus we want to make sure she is safe. She is a "roller" {turns over alot during the night} and don't want her to fall out. Plus there are times were she gets up in the middle of the night and sleepwalks.

Any advice/help would be greatly apperciated from the DIS experts!! ::yes::

Thanks in advance!!! :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

I believe you can request a regular crib from Disney for no charge. They are full size cribs with metal frames, they have Disney bedding. We just had to call housekeeping and request a regular crib (not a pack and play) and they brought one up. You might check with your hotel. They do offer side rails from housekeeping too - again, depending on your room and how many beds it may be an option.

They set up the crib while we were out. We gave them all our lodging info and payment BEFORE we arrived. The crib was ready right after we checked in and included a sheet, bumper, and blanket (all very clean). They called the day before we were leaving to confirm that we would be checking out the next day. They arrived around 9 am on check out day and had the crib out of there within 15 minutes. Very nice service - would use again in a heart beat!

If you reallly need a full size crib, I'd definately rent one. The ones Disney provides are not a true full size crib. They are portacribs, with immovable sides, which can cause a problem is trying to laydown a sleeping child. Also, Disney won't guarantee a full-size crib will be available when you check-in. They are on a request only basis, and if they're all in use, then you're basically out of luck. Also, ABBF doesn't set-u[ cribs anymore. They drop them off and leave them with bell services. It is your responsibility to set-up and break down before checking out. I believe they made this change since people kept changing rooms and the cribs were getting damaged by being moved from room to room.

That was our experience when we used them last September. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't use ABBF. Personally, for what they're charging I don't want to have to bother with assembling/disassembling it. Bell services had a hard time finding it and we just didn't have a good experience all around.

We rented a full size crib in Jan and while ABBF was fine I will not be doing this again. It took my DH who is a very slow perfectionist much longer than 10-15 minutes to set up and of course again to take down. It was a great source of stress for him. If you're more relaxed I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad but DD wouldn't sleep in the crib when she could see us in the room-she only used it 1 night. We had DH & DS in 1 bed, DDs and I in the other. I figure I'll try the pack-n-play provided by the resort this year. Bell services had a hard time finding our crib too-how could they not see that? I was staying concierge so the CM called ABBF for me and they had the receipt and could tell them the location for Bell Services. We also had the huge box in our closet for the duration of the trip. If you really want a full size crib I would use ABBF.

I would definately use ABBF for the full crib again. . . assembling it was easy and my DH and DW here agree it is DEFINATELY worth the $$ for a number of reasons, first and foremost it is a full crib. Also, it was clean, the included bedding was wonderful, and 10 minutes of set-up time by us was worth the sleep we all recieved every night of our stay. (If baby is not happy, mommy is not happy, . . . and then NO ONE is happy!)

I also was told by Bell Services it was not there, but when I gave them the bin # location that ABBF informed me. . . gee, it appeared. ABBF has their act together and I would recommend them highly to anyone; very dependable. We will be using them again soon.

HTH.

We have a crib reserved from ABBF for our August trip. They emailed me the crib set-up instructions in advance, so we could look them over. I assume this is now standard procedure. This way you can decide if it look simple enough for you to do. My husband is a big do-it yourselfer so I imagine it should be easy!
