Renting a DVC - Can you get an ADA bathroom ?

But how do we ask for an ADA bathroom?

Our best choices to rent a 1 bedroom or studio are Boardwalk, AKL and Contemporary

Tell them you need an accessible room. It’s a booking category. Do you need/want wheelchair accessible, tub or roll-in shower? or just the “Florida” accessible (bars at the toilet not tub/shower)?

I know that at AKV-Kidani (not Jambo), there are just 2 HA rooms listed on touring plans, which seems like a very few considering the # of rooms overall. The only advantage is that if you can snag one of those 2, you can be sure not to have the long hallway to deal with, since they're both fairly close to the elevator.

Just remember to request what specific accessibility needs you have, i.e. roll in shower, accessibility for hearing impaired, etc.
