Renting a car

So on costco saw mini van for 606 for the week at Alamo for next summer... is that an okay price? I am worried about price going up higher as we get closer and not being able to get one after I saw the rental issues for this summer.

Also how is Alamo there? Is it one of those ones that has huge lines when waiting to get a car?

I would reserve the car now and then keep checking the prices. If the price drops, rebook at the new rate and then cancel the old reservation.

We prefer Alamo and have rented from them almost every time we go to Hawaii. Don't worry about what the lines were like this year because it will probably all change next year.
