Renting a Car

We only plan to rent a car for a few days in the middle of our holiday we have used the car centre and the dolphin/swan hotel pick up before and much prefer the car centre. When we used it we were told we needed to go TTC to get the Alamo bus to the centre, but I'm sure I have read people can get picked up from their resort in them is this true? If so how do you arrange it!

Both Alamo and National are on-site at WDW near the TTC, they have shuttles (in partnership with Disney) that will collect you from any WDW resort, including the Dolphin

How do I arrange this because when we checked in to SSR last year and said we are collecting our car she offered to book us a taxi to get there but never offered a shuttle bus?

The number is 407 824 3470 - call them and one of the options to arrange a shuttle collection.

We usually call an hour before we want to be picked up as we are leaving a park.

Front desk at OKW offered to call for us to arrange a pick-up...and I am sure there is a number on the rental voucher. I was told its best to call 24 hours in advance if possible - last time I waited until an hour before hand and the call was never answered so we had to get a taxi over...but it was just a few dollars anyway
