Renting a car while at the resort

We will be at All Star Sports Dec. 27-Jan 1 for a high school basketball tournament at ESPN that my youngest daughter is playing in. It looks like my oldest daughter's university is going to be playing in the Champs Bowl on Dec. 29 played at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Oldest daughter would like to meet up with her college buddies at the game and can get a ticket through her university.

Can we rent a car (I would go with her) at All Star Sports to get us to the stadium? I don't want to have to rent a car for the entire trip as we will be using Disney transportation and I don't want to take a cab to the stadium. I've been to Disney many times and have either rented a car at the airport or just used Disney transportation so I wasn't sure if there was an onsite car rental place or not.

There is Alamo/National car rental at the Car Care Center over by MK. You can get free transport over there to rent a car. From the WDW web site

"Shuttle service to and from your resort location is provided 7 days a week, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. — 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. (holiday hours may vary). Shuttle service should be scheduled at least one hour in advance."

There is also a National/Alamo desk at the Dolphin, which is pretty easy to get to. (Walk from Epcot/HS)

We rent at the Dolphin. We don't stay there, so we just take a bus to the hotel (or boat depending on where we are) I am not a taxi person, so we've even just rented one for a night to go to Walmart.

I've rented from the CCC, shuttle pick up is great. It's near The Poly & TTC.
I have to go to Ft. Lauderdale to visit my mom, so I either start there, and when I get to WDW return the car (Alamo) at CCC, or pick up the car our last day to drive down to moms.

Very convenient to use the Disney Car Care Center. Just set up your ressie ahead of time, so you can get your best discounts. We've done this several times, when we've desired a vehicle for only part of our stay. The CCC will send a van to pick you up at your resort. When you're done with the vehicle, the CCC van will drop you off at your resort, again. We also did one ressie where we picked the car up at MCO, kept it for a three day weekend, and then returned it to the CCC. Slick.

Just to be clear - when you rent at the Disney Car Care Center, you do NOT need to return the car there.

It's a regular car rental. Recently we' picked up a car at the CCC and dropped it off two weeks later at the Sarasota Airport.
