Renting a car instead of using ME??

Hi. We have ressies for August and at that time I told them we would be using ME. We recently decided to get a rental car instead. I never contacted ME to make a ressie or give flight information so do I need to let anyone know that we will not be using ME since it shows ME on my ressie confirmation?

PLEASE, by all means, let Disney know you will not be using ME. I am sure they will appreciate it!

This may or may not work for you but just wanted to mention that I have used ME and then rented a car AFTER we got to our resort (didn't need it the whole time). Very easy (and cheaper than renting car at the airport since we only needed car a day or two)

I don't see what difference it will make for Disney if they don't have any flight information. Did you give this information when booking your room? Have you received a packet from ME? If not, I wouldn't bother.

and the yellow tags are there but in the little booklet it says "No flight information provided". I never gave them any flight info as we did not have flights booked at the time we made the Disney ressie. I guess I can call them anyway.

CCW - Thanks for the suggestion and it was discussed. The rental prices were not going down (actually going up) so we went ahead and tried a cheap priceline bid figuring if it was accepted great and if not we would use ME and it was accepted - Alamo, 8 days, compact (just me DH and DD) for 143.00 and change, total (all taxes and fees included). I was holding a ressie with both Alamo and National with rates of 198.00 and 212.00 and just didn't want to pay that much. Last year we paid 179.00 and I would have been happy with that so I was very happy with the 143.00.
