Renting a car from Amtrak station?

Has anyone ever taken the train into Orlando and then rented a car?

We took the train and had a towncar pick us up and drop us at Disney. Then we used the WDW transportation. They picked us up at the Kissimmee (sp?) stop, which was not crowded at all. They dropped us back there at the end of our trip.

The train ride was 28hrs. one way. It was awful. The Amtrack people were absolutely wonderful, very accomodating and pleasant - but 28hrs was just too much to take.
