Renting a car for one day

My husband and I will be flying into MCO and we are currently planning on taking DME to the Yacht Club. We would like to rent a car for just one day (Sunday), but this would be our first time getting a car at Disney. We have read that we can just walk over to the Dolphin to pick up/drop off the car. We are wondering if there are ever any good deals or coupons for a one day rental. This is very new to us! I have read through as many threads as I can, but still can't find what I am looking for. Is it more costly to get a rental at the Dolphin? The cheapest I can find is around $58 for the day including all costs. Is that really the best I can do? Thanks!

Just booked Alamo from MCO 12/20. Drive to lunch, get groceries, and BLT. Next morning 12/21 drive to Dolphin, return car, and boat to DHS. $28 for a full size. BRILLiANT -- thank you!

If you have an AP or any of the airlines frequent flyer programs there are pretty good discounts as well.
