Renting a car for a day?

Heard there is a car rental right on Disney property? I want to rent a car for one day to go to/from Universal. How do you get to the rental place and then back to your resort after you drop the car off? What is the name of the "location?" and how did you book? Thanks for any info!

There are quite a few car rental location on or very near the WDW property.

Keep in mind that non-airport car rental locations normally have limited hours (such as 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). You have to pick up while the location is open, but you can return after hours (your return date and time will be when the location reopens the next day). However, after hours you face the issue of how to get from the car rental location back to where you need to be.

Car rentals are normally billed in 24-hour days. So you can rent one day and return the next day (within 24 hours) and only pay for one day. That can be a better option than returning the car after hours on the same calendar day.
