Renting a car at DLR

Hi,

We're planning a week-long trip in March and staying at the Camelot (stayed there a few years back, it was great!) on Harbour.

We'd like to rent a car on the weekend and drive in to Newport Beach and various other places.

Any suggestions? We'd like to be able to walk to the rental place. It looks like there's an Alamo in DTD, has anyone tried that?

There is a car rental place in the hotel you are staying at. They may also hava a coupon for $ off a rental. Call and check with them. I stayed at Hojo's and rented a car from Anaheim Car Rental. They picked me up and took me to the office at no additional charge. They also picked up the car from the hotel the next day. Great service and no extra charges.

We have rented from the Alamo in DTD. I think it is around the corner from the Compass Book Store. We have had good experiences with them. I don't know about the selection of cars they provide, we just get something standard. It is convenient because the car is parked in the GCH self-parking lot.
