Does anyone know if you can rent a boat on the seven seas lagoon during the fireworks for you and your party??

If so how much is it and how do i go about doing that?

You have a few options. You can rent a pontoon boat which holds up to 10 adults. Prices vary a little, based on whether or not you want the music piped in, but are in the $275 - $300 range. Snacks and soft drinks are included.

You can also rent the Grand 1, which is a yacht. I'm not sure of capacity (it's more than the pontoon boats). Price is around $450.

You can book these 90 days in advance by calling (407) 939-7529. They can pick you up at either the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge or Polynesian.

We did this the evening of our wedding and it was great...a really special way to end the day.

i rented it

we did this for our 10yr anniversary & we had 10 people
it was on the pontoon boat
they offered chips & pop

it was SOOOOOOOO neat...my dad loved it SO much he said he'd never watch the fireworks any other way!!!!!

if you can do it....i say GO FOR IT!!!!!!
well worth EVERY cent!!!

The grand 1 is now 18 people - we did it for our wedding exactly 4 weeks ago today!! They got a new boat a few months back that is larger.

This is how DF proposed! He rented one of those 10 person boats for the two of us during Wishes! It truly was a magical experience. I wish we could do a cruise during Wishes for a dessert party thing but we are having approx 60 peeps and i don't think they have a boat large enough. good luck though! i definitely think you should go for it, it's a great experience!:thumbsup2

It was either $425 or $450 but to be honest my dad picked up the tab for that, so I'm not 100% sure. There aren't any extras included with that boat - no food or drinks. You can order from GF private dining, but it's pricey!! We got 20 waters and it was $80 plus tax and tip. There are some pics in my TR.

Even though there aren't extras, the nice thing about the Grand 1 is there's tons of room for people to move around and be where they want to be DH and I watched WIshes from the upper deck where the driver was. Also, there are 2 bathrooms and there's an indoor section where the one guest we had who wasn't too fond of boats hung out. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I believe that they charge per hour as well - so the $400 and whatever is for one hour...

I'm sure it says it on that link I posted earlier, I should really start reading that before I make all these things up :rotfl:

We have rented one before for our anniversary. I was the pontoon boat not the grand 1. It was a flat fee ( approx. a hour give or take) they provided drinks and snacks(chips, pretzels etc). I had ordered a cake too and had them put up some decorations( balloons and a banner) . we didn't have the music piped in but we could hear the music just fine. The Grand 1 was also out that night. the captain told us they have approx. 30 pontoon boats that can be out on any given night. It was great and def something I would do again!:goodvibes
