Rented from Kenny

We arrive at Fort Wilderness on Tuesday!!!!!!!!!! We rented a golf cart from Kenny. I thought they said they would call me a few days before we got there to set up delivery. I haven't heard from him yet. When did you set up delivery? Our flight lands at 2:00. I wanted to set up delivery around 3:30. Do you think this is doable?

Sure it's doable. But you'll probably hear from him at the 24-hour/day before mark. You can try to reach him before that but you should hear from him.

Kenny runs an off-premise golf cart rental business called Tee Time Golf Cart Rental. His rates are very competitive compared to Disney's. If you search back or look at old posts over pages 2,3,4 etc. You will find more cart rental info. Many people on this board have used Kenny and he has superior customer service.

Another off-site vendor is Steve Senesi who's business I recall was linked to a post about 2 weeks ago. Steve has 6-passenger carts as well as 4-passenger whereas Kenny is exclusively 4.

PS - no website for Kenny but rates are approx $35/day for a week long rental. Longer rentals get lower average daily rates. Compare that to Disney's $60 plus per day

I would difinately try to call him cause that's unusual. he's usually really good! We have rented from him and always had great results!

Then you can cross that off of your list and stop worrying.

We are using one of Kenny's carts right now. We talked to him late Saturday and he told us to call him in Sunday after we checked in to give him our site number. We did that and he was there in less than 30 minutes with a cart. We too were worried first-time Kenny renters but it has been great!

Wonderful to know. Does he have a minimum rental time? Tend to camp long weekends since DH can't take long periods of time off.

A long weekend would be right on the cusp. I think he will do a 3-day rental but that's the shortest. If not then it's 4-day. Others will chime in. Of course a 3-day may not average out to the same daily rate that a 7-day/week long rental would but you would still be better off.

Oh, and Kenny's carts peel rubber!
