With all the talk about the difficulty with the busses loading wheelchairs, we have started thinking about renting an accessible van for our next trip to WDW.
We live in the SW, and one of the things we love about DL (we're annual passholders there), is that we can drive our van there (only 5 hrs), and it's very easy to get our son's power WC to DL. DME is great at DL for transferring his chair from the airport, but one of the big negatives we have at WDW compared to DL is the problems with the busses. Again, I don't mind waiting our turn like everyone else, but it seems that many times, we have to wait LONGER than other able-bodied guests.
So, has anyone had good experiences renting accessible vans in Orlando? Good companies to use? Bad experiences?
Thanks in advance,
Wade
