rental strollers / train / Liberty Belle???

Liberty Belle - are you around? Or anyone else that can help me out with this.

We're doing things a little differently on this trip and not sure how to handle the rental stroller issue. On one of our days, we won't be arriving at MK until after lunch. We want to immediately get on the train at Main Street, make a full loop so my DS3 can ride "his train," and then get off at Frontierland so DD6 can do the mountains. So, obviously we won't need the stroller until we get over there. Is the stroller rental office at the main entrance the only place to rent them? And if so, do I just rent the double stroller, then cross my fingers that one will be at Frontierland station? Any other options or suggestions?

Yes the front entrance is the only place that you can "rent" a stroller (there are replacement locations throughout the park but that is the only rental location). What you can do is rent the stoller and get the name tag but don't bother actually picking up a stroller (just get the name tag and receipt) and head right up to the train. When you get to Frontierland you can pick up the stroller from the station. The stations are always kept stocked with strollers (if for some reason they don't have a double they will either offer you 2 singles and advise you to stop by the Frontierland trading post which is a replacement location and trade them in for a double Or you can wait 20 minutes and they will send one over from Toon Town on the train.)... Generally there are plenty of replacements so I would not worry to much about not having one avalaible when you arrive

P.S. My DH is an engineer for CSX here in Pensacola. Any chance of him getting a close up view of the engine? He teases that he wants to drive - and I know that's out of the question - but just curious if he and the kids could see the inside of the engine.

We will be there Wed, Oct 6th - that's the day that we'll be getting there in the afternoon, plans are for around 12:00 and staying until close.

And we'll also be there on Friday, Oct 8th. We're doing the Family Magic Tour in the morning, and then just finishing up whatever we didn't do on Wednesday. We're not doing MNSSHP that night, so hoping to be out of the park by 5:00.

Little boys never really grow up, do they?
And he's definitely passed his love of trains on to our son.
