Rental properties...is it just me?

Why do I have to basically beg people to take my $$? Either I get no response via contacting them on VRBO or Homeaway or I feel like I have to hound them to tell me how to pay them! Is it just not important to make sure a house is rented at all times?

I've been feeling the same way!! Last trip we booked thru windorhillsrents and I had a billion replies to my first inquiry. This time I've done WH and VRBO and I've heard from 2 owners.

One of the benefits of using VRBO is the guest reviews. Reading the reviews for a potential rental can tell you a lot about what the property offers and how responsive the owner/manager is.

Maybe the lack of responses means that your dates are already booked by the owners. In our experience, Windsor Hills books up fast.

Definitely read the reviews and see how current they are, also determine where the owner is located, home or abroad and if you are working with them or the management company. We prefer the owner booked properties that have a local management companies. We have stayed in Emerald Island multiple times and have enjoyed it each time.
