Rental Price Inflaction since 2003

I would hope never to have to rent my points (that would be heartbreaking because it would mean that, for some insane reason, I wasn't vacationing...) but if I *did* have to rent, I would be happy with $10/point. It would not only pay for my dues for the year, but would also give me a profit of $1,000+. And, again, if I wasn't using my points to vacation anyway, a thousand bucks is still a thousand bucks, especially if the alternative was to lose those points. BUT, I hope that I am never in a position where I have to rent my points -- we bought DVC in order to continue taking Disney vacations. If we're not utilizing our membership, we would sell it.
