Hi! Just wondering if anyone has ever used (or have friends/relatives/family who have done this) a reliable site to rent a suite/condo/home that is located CLOSE to Disney, but is not part of Disney during the time of their wedding? I'm in a bit of a jam right now as most of the resorts are NOW booked during the time of my upcoming wedding :sad2: --which is making things difficult since a lot of my family/relatives have not yet booked their stay. :headache: Sooo....I was thinking of possibly renting a house/condo for my family to stay in that would be relatively close to Disney that would be affordable for me as well. Of course, this means they would have to rent their own cars and not have the Magical hours and other perks of staying at the resorts...but that'll probably be OK with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!! :goodvibes

We have rented from All Star Vacation Homes before and they were great. Their website is www.allstarvacationhomes.com. Depending upon when your weddig is, I have made Disney Reservations 30 days from December 25th, I was told that organizations such as AAA have to return their unsold lot of rooms back to Disney. I was able to get a moderate resort and still had all the 'Disney Experience'.

My parents are renting a villa at Rolling Hills which is about 5 miles from Disney just offthe 192. We went through a UK site and it had a guarantee that you could take out - if there was a problem with the villa or owners before you arrived they would find you an alternative. Not sure if other sites have this but they proabaly do.

There are some lovely villas and condos around and we were able to get a great deal by haggling so always worth asking. We are staying in the villa after our stay in Disney and can't wait!

the other thing to look at is some of the hotels around the Downtown Disney area. Our friend got a great deal at the Royal Sun Plaza and there are some great looking hotels around there. If might be something to consider for transport too.

Thanks for your help! Are those vacation homes close to Disney--primarily the Grand Floridian resort (since my wedding will be there)?? My wedding is coming up in December and I don't want someplace too far because it can be a hassle for driving. I really appreciate your help!! :goodvibes

We own a Marriott Vacation Club and often stay at their villas. They are about a mile outside of Disney and we LOVE them!

Hiya,

No problem - it's ownersdirect.co.uk and then search for Rolling Hills.
