Rental Houses?

I'm hoping someone can help. We would like to rent a vacation house, preferable w/6 bdrms (3masters w/king sz bds) and a pool. Does any one know of any rental companies that are reputable? We found a house the other day, but the 'owner' is in Denmark and is only willing to accept payment via bank transfer - which makes me very nervous. Please help!

If you look up property management groups in Davenport or Four Corners Florida you'll find quite a few businesses who handle vacation rentals.

check out www.orlandovillas.com, I have used this site many times.. Most of the owners live in the UK. You will also find a discussion forum on the right side of the page, which can be very helpful.

We rented a 5-bedroom house from floridasunvacationhomes.com this past October. It also had 5 bathrooms and there were 3 king beds.

I had absolutely no issues with renting from them and would certainly not hesitate to do it again!!

You can check the owner does actually own the house on the proerrty appraisers site for the county if it will help put your mind at rest .It is not uncommon for out of state owners to take bank transfers as it is easier for both parties and really usually doesnt mean anything.

we really love this house its five bedrooms 4 bathrooms. i know two have kings and one has a queen and the other two have twins. the owner is great to deal with also and its a really good price for being so close to the parks. like i said its great we just booked again for aug

Thank you all for all the great info! Now I just wish I could do a search just by number of masters and sz of beds. I think this would make life easier. We have 3 families total and all want a master en-suite w/king sz beds. Makes for a very difficult search!

We've rented twice with All Star Vacation Homes and had a great experience each time . They are a little more expensive than other companies or renting through an owner, but we liked them so much that we wouldn't rent through anyone else. We found the staff to be very courteous and professional, as well as the homes being immaculate and just as described on the website. Plus their site is easy to navigate to find the home that fits your needs. Good luck .

Check romancingthemouse.com...they have a 5 bed 5 bath that might work depending on what the mix of kids is; and if you aren't going until next year they will have a 6 bedroom.

We have the same scenario as you - three families, all wanted a master. We found an awesome home at www.sterlingvacationhomes.com. The owner has been amazing to work with, and she has several homes that have enough masters. We are staying at one with 4 masters and then 3 other bedrooms. We also needed a home with no bunk beds (I have 3 nephews between the ages of 2 and 6 going with us), and we needed a room that slept more than two kids.

We are already booked for June of 2013, the owner was easy to reach by phone and by e-mail, and so far it's been an excellent experience.
