Rental @ Hilton in Disney World

Hi,

We've reserved a car for one day at the Hilton, but we're staying at OKW. Do you know if the walk from Downtown Disney to the Hilton is very far? Or, if we can board a Hilton bus from DD if we're not staying with that hotel?

I have done this twice now while staying at OKW. When you get off the bus at Downtown Disney (DD), you have to walk out of the bus area and go in to DD but exit by the toy store. The one with Genie out front. Just walk past the splash area to the intersection with the traffic light. You will see the Hilton on your right. Cross over and just walk to the main entrance of the Hilton. It's maybe a 5 min. walk. I assume you are renting with Avis. When you walk in the front door, you will see the front desk. Turn to your left and just walk down the hall. You will clearly see the Avis desk almost at the end of the hallway.

Avis picked us up at the Swan when I rented from them in 2008. However, when I returned a car to the Hilton, they suggested I catch the bus from DD back to my resort.
